“You’ve been the talk of the newsroom ever since with everyone saying how good you were. Your performances were fantastic, and I think you genuinely did stun the audience”.                             Sarah Hellyar - Producer for BBC’s “Children In Need”

Milan are three talented sopranos Gemma Edwards, Laura Pomeroy and Natalie Hunter. The band's 'popera' style was conceived by producer Malcolm Middleton and uses soprano style vocals to blend classics like Habanera and Au Fond Du Temple Saint with dance rhythms and package them in a pop format. Add to this a girl band image and dance choreography and you have a new style for a much wider audience. Milan's live show also features traditional style opera and since the band's formation in 2008 they have performed all over the world in places like Spain, Italy and the Caribbean. With an ever increasing itinerary these are definitely exciting times for Milan!
